Digital Marketer,
Content Strategist, Multimedia Producer
About Me
I’m a digital marketing specialist and content strategist based in Dallas, Texas, and I'm passionate about creative storytelling and making meaningful connections with audiences.
Currently, I serve as the content strategist for the marketing team at Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts, where I manage digital content, from overseeing web performance and blogs to running our social media strategy and email newsletters. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is guiding a talented team of social media managers.
Before this, I was the digital producer for Think with Krys Boyd, a national radio show and podcast produced by KERA, North Texas’ PBS and NPR member station. There, I managed social media, wrote blogs, mentored interns, conducted audience research, and executed strategic content plans.
My educational background includes a journalism degree with a minor in arts entrepreneurship from SMU, where I worked as an editor and digital media producer for the student newspaper and completed a reporting fellowship with The Dallas Morning News. I earned my master’s degree in media management from Arkansas State University in December 2021, with a focus on digital media strategy in the fields of marketing, social media, and journalism.
While in grad school, I worked as a digital intern at the Texas Observer, where I managed email newsletters, social media, and our digital brand. I also freelanced for The Dallas Morning News, reporting on Dallas’ food, arts, and entertainment scene.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me reading mystery novels, watching 2000s sitcoms, journaling, or catching up on social media trends. I also love spending time with my 15-year-old cat, Stella. She’s a senior but still sassier than ever.
